I enjoyed to watch tennis tournament and for those who always watch a sport tournament either on tv or live, you may come across to see the athletes took a banana during a short break. Have anyone wonder why?. Maybe I have an explaination that I can share with you guys. Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the players always have it during a break.
Bananas contain sugar which are called glucose and fructose. Glucose is the most easily digestible sugar. It gets into human bloodstream rapidly and can be utilized for a quick release of energy. The fructose is absorbed more slowly, and thus it provides a more lasting fuel release. Neither glucose nor fructose cause the adrenaline surge linked to consumption of sucrose that gives the atheles the kind of immediate energy rush or sugar hit that they might get from a candy bar. But, the energy rush they get here will be a healthy one which is why this fruit is often the snack of choice for them. Bananas are famous for a good source of potassium, a mineral involved in proper muscle contraction. Insufficient potassium is one of the main causes of fatigue, muscle cramping and dehydration. Bananas supply the dense and ready carbohydrates necessary to replace the muscle glycogen (muscle sugar) used during exercise. It is wise to eat bananas before, during, and after long bouts of activity, and after shorter, more intense sessions.
So, if you are going to the gym or for a long run then eating one or two bananas before your workout. Therefore, I hope that this would be a good info for you guys to consider to take a banana instead of all the chemical supplement, as it is a natural and cheap also. A banana is always good to be taken every morning and make it your daily routine to boost up your energy every day!.
